What materials do you use?

We currently offer installations of Feather Friendly DIY tape in white or black. The tape is installed in strips that peel off and leave behind a grid of dots on the exterior of your window. More information about the product can be found here.

How long do the dots last on windows?

Feather Friendly is rated to last on exterior applications for at least 7 years. We guarantee all installations with a post-installation warranty to replace any dots that come off the glass within 1 year of installation.​

Where can I buy Feather Friendly DIY tape?

Feather Friendly DIY tape is available for purchase online from Feather Friendly's website. You may also purchase DIY tape locally in London at Featherfields Bird and Garden Store, Wild Birds Unlimited or Lee Valley Tools.

Do you install other types of bird-friendly window materials?

Besides Feather Friendly, there are many other ways to make your windows safer for birds. We are open to helping our clients retrofit their windows using alternative materials. Please provide us with information about other materials you​ wish to use with your request for a quote and we will work with you to find a solution.

When are appointments available?

We offer appointment slots on a rolling basis during the week and on weekends. Requests for morning, afternoon and evening appointments can be accommodated. Please note that Feather Friendly is recommended to be applied only when temperatures are above 10°C or 50°F. Therefore, we do not offer installations during the winter months.
